Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have — including how call recordings and transcripts are handled.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information ElevateBox collects when you use our website and AI phone-calling platform (the “Service”), why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the businesses that sign up for the Service (“customers”) and, where relevant, to the people their AI employees call or receive calls from.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in four broad categories:
- Account data — your name, business name, email, phone number and billing details when you create an account or top up your wallet.
- Call data — the leads and phone numbers you add, their consent and do-not-call status, and the recordings, transcripts and summaries generated when your AI employee places or receives a call.
- Demo-call data — the mobile number and short description you enter to request a free demo call from our website.
- Usage data — device, browser and log information collected automatically as you use the website and dashboard, used to keep the Service secure and to understand how it is used.
3. How we use information
We use this information to provide and operate the Service (placing calls, transcribing and summarising them, and showing the results in your dashboard), to charge your prepaid wallet, to respond to support requests, to detect and prevent abuse or fraud, and to keep the Service working reliably. We do not sell personal information.
4. Call recording and transcription
Calls placed or received through the Service may be recorded and transcribed so that the outcome can be shown in your dashboard. As the business initiating or receiving these calls, you are responsible for any recording disclosure or consent required by law where your calls take place. Recordings we store are deleted automatically 90 days after the call; transcripts and summaries stay with your account until you ask us to delete them or close your account.
5. Sharing with service providers
We share data with a limited set of providers that help us operate the Service: cloud hosting, database, our payment processor (Razorpay), email delivery, and the telephony and speech and language-model providers that connect calls and power the conversation, transcription and summaries. They may use data only to provide their services to us. Our Security page lists these categories. We may also disclose information where required to comply with a valid legal process.
6. Data retention
We keep account and call data for as long as your account is active, apart from call recordings, which are deleted after 90 days as described above. After your account closes we keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. You can ask us to delete specific recordings or your whole account at any time.
7. Data security
Data travels encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), and access to your account and its data is limited to you and the small number of ElevateBox staff who need it to run and support the Service. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password. More detail is on our Security page.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you are based, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing — including rights available under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act. You can manage most account data from your dashboard’s settings, or email support@elevatebox.in to make a request. If someone your AI employee called asks to stop being called, add them to your do-not-call list; they can also say so on the call.
9. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies, mainly to keep you signed in. Our Cookie Policy lists them.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Data outside India
Some of the providers described above may store or process data outside India. Where that happens, we only use providers that protect it under terms consistent with this Policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice, such as an email or a notice in your dashboard, before it takes effect.
13. Contact us
Questions about this Policy can be sent to support@elevatebox.in or through the contact page.
